Avs vs Stars: GWG Challenge and GDT, Game 42
Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Stars of Dallas tonight in Big D. Game time is 9pm ET/7pm in the mountains and can be seen on Altitude 2 and NHLtv. Moser’s radio call will be available as usual from the NHL app and Gamecenter.
The Avs return to action after the bye week on the road but don’t get any of the walking wounded back. Varly’s out until the All-Star break at least, Andrighetto isn’t skating with the team yet and JT Compher is still in non-contact phase. AJ Greer was sent down to the Rampage for a game just to stay sharp but he’s back. Andrei Mironov was also sent down for the bye week but the Avs elected to give David Warsofsky his first callup instead of bringing him back. After all that, the lineup remains the same as it was for the last game vs Minny.
