Cale Makar and Shane Bowers each recorded one assist and four shots on goal in a wild back and forth 7-5 UMass win over BU. Below is a clip from that game which has now gone viral. This sequence leads to a goal but Makar is not credited with an assist. He pretty much dances around the offensive zone and then destroys an opponent in the corner. The Minutemen seem to go as Makar does as they hold a record of 15-1 when he scores a point and 5-4 when he does not.
Good lord — Cale Makar is absurd. pic.twitter.com/QODcnW93sI

The Eagles continued their domination over Tucson with a 5-4 overtime win the following night. Martin Kaut was used for the first time all season in overtime and it paid dividends as he set up Andrew Agozzino for the winner with just three seconds remaining. The assist also puts Kaut on a current three game point streak. Igor Shvyrev got on the scoresheet in this as well with this slick goal seen below that finally shows off all that skill he possesses. With the two wins Spencer Martin also moves his record to 7-3 in his last ten games.
